For 120 Volt Apex Bill Validators, this harness plugs into the 12-pin connector on the side of the Apex, and adapts to the 9-pin (Molex) 120VAC power connection found inside many host machines.

This is also compatible with the 05AA0012 Wall Plug Harness (to connect the Apex directly to a 120V wall outlet).
